  • Halloween Special — Samhain celebrations, AMA, and overnight at Borley Rectory
    Oct 31 2021

In this special Hallowe’en 2021 episode of Laars Head’s Supernormal, I explain the history of the Wayland feast of Samhain — upon which the modern Hallowe’en festival is based.

(Personally, I prefer a traditional celebration — with food, drink, and all the coven around me.)

Then, in the tedious middle section of the episode, I avail myself to questions from members of the public — in yet another AMA. All at the instruction of my idiotic agent.

Finally, I take a trip over to the grounds of Borley Rectory — the so-called ‘Most Haunted House in England’ — and spend the night there. Why? Well, for a bet, of course. Why does anyone do anything…?

    Anyway, enjoy your Spunky Night.

And leave a pleasant review. Or I will find you.

    Happy Hallowe’en.

  • Laars' Christmas
    Dec 24 2020

Welcome to my alternative Christmas message.

In this festive episode of Laars Head's Supernormal, I explain how I had planned to have an old-fashioned Christmas, mixing the Christian and Satanic traditions. But now, thanks to lockdown, I'll probably just be drinking Scotsmac and watching Call the Midwife, like the rest of you civilians.

I also explain necromancy – and how a brain injury caused me to see ghosts and lose a pretty lucrative sales gig – in the latest, exciting instalment of my autobiography There is No Life.

    Happy Christmas, one and all.

If you want to make your yuletide worthwhile, I implore that you watch this excellent version of A Christmas Carol, starring Ross Kemp as the leathery 'Eddie Scrooge.' It's uncompromising. It's dangerous. And it's a timely reminder that spirits are arseholes. Even at Christmas.

  • My First Séance
    Oct 31 2020

In this special Hallowe’en episode of Laars Head’s Supernormal, I tell the story of how, as a callow youth, I was first introduced to the world of professional Spiritualism. (Soon after which, I bravely gave up a pretty lucrative sales gig to follow my true calling.)

In the second half of the episode, at the instruction of my agent, I avail myself to questions from members of the public – in something called an AMA.

And, despite the fact that most of the questions were ludicrous, inane, and largely incoherent, I did my best to answer in a way that would be understood by the worthless drabs that asked them.

I am currently heading north of the border, to meet friends, and enjoy an old-fashioned Spunky Night.

    Happy Hallowe’en.

    Be good to one another.
