  • Tara May: Focuses on ROI of Kindness and Psychological Safety in the Workplace
    Jul 12 2024

Exploring Diverse Perspectives requires the ability to recognize the origins and influences of one's cultural heritage and identity. It enables individuals to engage and learn from perspectives and experiences different from their own. Tara May is the CEO of Aspiritech, a nonprofit tech services company with 95% autistic employees. She champions neurodiversity in the workplace and is an expert in cultural transformation and fostering innovation. May believes that companies should focus on the ROI of kindness, and those aiming to "fail fast" and innovate must embrace psychological safety in the workplace. Aspiritech is a leader in promoting neurodiversity in the workplace and recently hosted the global Neurowrx conference in 2023. The company provides mental health support to its team and conducts nationwide workplace training on neurodiversity awareness and inclusion. It also offers community support to combat loneliness and uplift the neurodivergent community. Jul 8 2024

Nonverbal communication can be more impactful than the words you use. Your nonverbal cues or body language can convey trust and draw others towards you, or they can offend, confuse, and undermine your message. These cues continue to send messages even after you stop speaking. Professional speaker Devin Bisanz has over a decade of experience shaping international speech champions, guiding TEDx luminaries, keynote speakers, and fine-tuning CEOs. He has spent thousands of hours observing speakers with the sound off, learning every detail of non-verbal communication. Devin has delivered over 2,000 presentations and knows how to educate, entertain, and inspire audiences. He emphasizes the importance of how you convey your message rather than just the words you use. In 2002, Devin had a near-death experience when his street bike was rear-ended by a speeding pickup truck, resulting in a traumatic head injury. Despite facing challenges, Devin now helps professional speakers craft their signature stories and turn them into profitable ventures. His services provide practical benefits, helping clients to refine their stage presence and craft compelling narratives. For more information, visit https://devinbisanz.com/. • Logan Hufford: "I Am No Longer in Bondage to Sexual Addiction"
    Jul 6 2024

The Cleveland Clinic's research shows that hypersexuality affects about 3% to 10% of the general U.S. population, with it being more common in men than in women. For every two to five males with hypersexuality, one woman is affected. On average, sexual addiction starts at 18 years of age.

Logan Hufford shared, “I'm no longer in bondage to sexual addiction. Being able to say those words is the 2nd biggest blessing in my life, after salvation through Jesus Christ. I spent years actively destroying my marriage, my life, and the lives of many others. I was addicted to pornography, affairs, and much more. I was, as Paul said, the chief of sinners, and I truly never envisioned a life where I wasn’t constantly mired in sexual depravity. It had become all I knew, day in and day out. In 2016, God began to change all of that. My life and my marriage now are something I literally could not have fathomed eight years ago. I sincerely believe my mission on this earth is to share with others how that happened. It wasn’t easy, it wasn’t quick, and I didn’t do it alone.”

Logan, a native Alaskan, is married to his wife Carrie, a 4th-generation Alaskan. Together, they are raising four wonderful but lively children. Despite leading a simple life filled with family time, their dogs, and exploring the beautiful Alaskan wilderness, none of this could have been possible today.

He thought he had no hope. Both Logan and Carrie now lead recovery groups, sharing the blessings that God has given them. Since January 2021, Logan has been able to utilize the tools he learned in addiction recovery as a Dave Ramsey-endorsed personal finance coach. He feels honored to help others find freedom and healthy living in a different arena than specifically recovery.
