There is much debate in our generation regarding the role of slavery and its impact on the African American experience with Christianity, some espouse the idea that Christianity is the "white man's religion" and that because it was used as a mechanism to indoctrinate and disarm the slaves in American that it can't be trusted. Pastor Q and Trevor dive deep into the origin and growth of the Christianity in Africa and around the world.

Both Trevor and Pastor Q grew up with the absence of a father figure in their lives during their most formative years for very different reason. Trevor's father died of sickness and Pastor Q's father was never around.
