  • Episode 9 “Addiction”
    Dec 9 2021
This episode I wanted to talk about addiction, a subject that is was a very deep issue for me growing because I grew up with a father that battled alcoholism that ended up taking over his life and ended his life at the young age of 42. This topic is something that I have not been open to talk about but I think we should start acknowledging an issue that runs heavy for many. Maybe my story can reach someone that is battling or recovering or can relate to me a child growing up with a parent battling addiction. Addiction has and is a big problem because so many people deal with trauma, mental illness and the use of drugs and alcohol become their gate way for so many reasons. I pray that this episode finds someone to reach out and get help to change your life.

Where did we contribute to the situation or situations we ended up in. There is always three parts to a story the beginning the middle and the end… so let’s take a moment to think of where did we go wrong let’s point the finger to our selfs for a moment because it’s important to check ourselves as well.

  • Episode 5 Part 1 with Ignacio Solorio "UnDefeated"
    Jul 1 2021

Sitting down with a long time friend Ignacio Solorio who is the first male on my podcast. I wanted to sit down and talk about life's journey growing up as a Latino and the many years of training in boxing and down the line becoming a professional boxer and how it helped him with life in its self. Stepping into the male role of life and talking about his upbringing, his relationship with his sons mother as this topic is not talked about but the dynamics of being a Mexican male and dating an African American woman, his role as a father and the trial and tribulations from the males side of each moment in life from relationships, success, health and fitness.

We also go down the line of what he has going on today as he has started his business "Undefeated", as he steps in the ring to train others with teaching the fundamentals of boxing and the health benefits of it. Undefeated!!!!!

We bring this episode to open that conversation of hearing the side of a male and have an open discussion of what they go through as males and how they process things differently compared to women. Stay tuned for part 2
