• Episode 7 // Friendship, Discernment & Bald Spots
    Jan 11 2023

Yup, you read that right. LOL. I get a little vulnerable here.

I didn't want to come on and record today. I felt too "seen" and out there.

My friends have been calling me out and wanting to talk about the hard things. Which I truly do love, even though I try to say I don't. Being a grownup and making new friends can be SO hard! That's why we have to be extremely diligent and discerning.

Listen about a "friendship" that caught fire and burned out just as quick, while leaving a huge trail of problems. How did it even happen?! I don't know. But I've learned to be more careful in the future.

What brought you here today? I hope you enjoyed the episode and will come back to talk again soon!

  • Episode 6 // Happy NEW Year!!
    Jan 3 2023

    Happy New Year Friends!

This episode I feel like I'm getting better at my confidence and cannot wait to really get to connecting with you!

We talk about ADHD, how I still am not sure about my "brand" and a couple other things.

I'm working towards restarting my blog so I can post my "transcribed" podcast episodes over there. Mostly for my hard of hearing friends but also for people who also like to read a blog rather than listen to a podcast!

I hope you had a good holiday season and are as ready for 2023 as I am!

  • Episode 5 // Christmas Catch-Up and Mama Guilt
    Dec 29 2022

Whew the stress of the holidays really takes a toll on my emotions.

In this episode we chat about Christmas, campers, mom life and guilt. I feel very vulnerable in a few places because being a mama is such a sensitive and tough season.

If you're not into campers or information on camper life just fast forward a little bit because I accidentally rambled on it for a bit, but it's not what the episode meat and potatoes is meant to be.

I'm still so thankful you're here to hangout with me and share this season of motherhood and wife-hood and just life in general.

You are precious for using your precious minutes of the day to listen to what I have to say, and if you enjoyed what you hear I would love for you to share my podcast with a friend or download the episodes. My channel gets "out there" better when there are supporters that "like" and comment, so I'm grateful for you to do just that!

The quote I read at the end was a good one, so I'm sharing it here:

"Motherhood is a choice you make every day
to put someone elses happiness and well-being
    ahead of your own.
    To Teach the hard lessons.
To do the right thing, even when
you're not sure what the right thing is.
    And to forgive yourself,
    over and over again
    for doing everything 'wrong'"

  • Episode 4 // Starting to Spill the Tea
    Dec 21 2022

This episode is a little different.

I created an outline, essentially, that I used throughout the entire podcast so that I could stay on track and focused and not ramble so much. I personally feel like it went well, so if you'd give it a listen and let me know what you think I'd appreciate that!

We go into my first story of the past where I spill some tea but how it didn't change the course of who I had become.

I call this "tea" because, well, who really likes to talk about using weed and drinking underage? Or their flaws? I don't like it, but I feel like it's something I *need* to talk about.

The sound isn't the best but I'm researching and saving up to purchase a better mic for the future. YOUR support as a Patreon with a monthly subscription will help accumulate these funds as the podcast grows.

As always, a LIKE, COMMENT, REVIEW, DOWNLOAD, or SHARE will really help boost my show and I am forever grateful for those of you who do so!

This podcast felt like a dream and it still can be scary, but I am going to do my best to continue showing up and sharing the nitty gritty because I KNOW someone needs to hear it.

Thank you for being here and hanging out with me today, my friend! I can't wait to talk again soon!

  • Episode 3 // Marketplace Chronicles, Christmas-ness & Comparison
    Dec 12 2022

In today's episode I go on a tangent about Facebook marketplace. I can't help it, but it's fresh on my mind as I have never had a less-than-adventurous experience whether it be through the conversation or the actual delivery process of selling the product.

Then I ease into how comparison steals our joy. I give a few examples, and I PROMISE I'm not talking about anyone in particular.

But when you look at social media, do you get a tinge of jealousy? Covet what they have?

We are set apart to have things for our own selves, families and children. What is set aside for us is directly for us! And the things set aside for us are really only good when used to the glory of God. Periodt.

I go very rambly but I'm proud of myself for not crying today! El oh el.

As always I'm SO tickled you chose to spend some time with me and I'm so thankful you're here.

  • Episode 2 // Red Lights and Resilience
    Nov 29 2022

Chat with me about a visionary idea that was sparked by red lights on the interstate and how they resonate with the hurdles we have in our lives.

In this episode I get a little weepy towards the end so please bare with me!

As a mama, all I want to do for my family is to let them know they are loved, but sometimes I feel like I fall short in that category. This is something I'll be working on for infinity, but how else would I begin without creating a space of accountability?

If you enjoyed todays episode, I kindly ask you to leave a review or "like" so that I can gain some traction in the podcast world!

Thank you so much for hanging out with me today! I can't wait to talk again, soon!
