  • Love Jesus and Others for the Atonement of Sins (English & Malayalam)
    Jul 12 2024

Luke 7:47 – “For this reason I say to you, her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, for she loved much; but he who is forgiven little, loves little.” Please note that the 1st part is in English, and the 2nd part is in Malayalam starting at 10:26 mark.
The more we love God and others, the more our sins will be forgiven. When we love God and others less, our sins will be forgiven less too. Luke 7:36-40- One of the Pharisees named Simon invited Jesus to dine with him. While Jesus was sitting down, a woman in the city who was a sinner, who is assumed to be Mary Magdalene, brought a container of costly perfume. She started weeping and began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she started wiping his feet with her hair. Next, she kissed the feet of Jesus and anointed with the perfume. Simon started wondering why Jesus allowed the sinful woman to touch His feet. Immediately Jesus understood the thoughts of Simon and said the parable of the creditor or money lender. What Jesus meant is that the woman loved Jesus a lot and did many things for Him. Because of her love, her sins will be forgiven a lot. But the Pharisee named Simon did not express much love to Jesus, and so his sins will not be forgiven much. The ways we reveal our love to Jesus and others, why we cannot love Jesus and others, and the rewards of loving Jesus and others are discussed.

  • Suffering of a Righteous Person Gains the Favor of God (English & Malayalam)
    Jul 5 2024

1st Peter 2:19, 20 – “For this finds favor, if for the sake of conscience toward God a person bears up under sorrows when suffering unjustly. For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God.” Please note that the 1st part is in English, and the 2nd part is in Malayalam starting at 15:50 mark.
There is no credit in front of God when we suffer as a sinner and go through harsh treatment from others. But if we are suffering patiently because of the injustice done by others, God will be in favor of us. If we do not suffer patiently, we will not get the favor of God. Some people commit suicide when they cannot take it anymore. Some people argue, fight, cut the relationship, and try to destroy the other person. Some people will go for court proceedings. Some people will cry and complain to others forever. A true child of God will suffer patiently and win the favor of God. The promises of God for our sufferings as a righteous person and some situations in the Bible where God strengthened people in their sorrows are discussed.

  • How does Satan influence us? (English & Malayalam)
    Jun 28 2024

John 13:26,27 – “So when He had dipped the morsel, He took and gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot. After the morsel, Satan then entered into him.” Please note that the 1st part is in English, and the 2nd part is in Malayalam starting at 15:39 mark.
This verse is about the last supper of Jesus with His disciples and the way Satan entered into Judas. In the Bible we can notice different kinds of influences by Satan. The influence of Satan started with the temptation of Adam and Eve in Genesis chapter 3. Jesus healed many who were possessed by demons. According to Mark chapter 3, the demons cast out from one person entered into 2000 pigs. The influence of Satan is out there always with the intention of blocking our redemption. A demon wants a body to live in just like the demons from one person asked the permission of Jesus to enter into 2000 pigs. A person may not be possessed by the demons all the time, but the influence of Satan is always out there with the intention of fooling us, trapping us, and destroying us. Ten situations that can bring the influence of Satan, some expressions of the influence of Satan in our daily life, the nature of Satan, and how we can resist the devil are discussed.

  • Don’t be Guided by the Blind (English & Malayalam)
    Jun 21 2024

Matthew 15:14 – Jesus said about the Pharisees and the scribes, “Let them alone; they are blind guides of the blind. And if a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into pit.” Please note that the 1st part is in English, and the 2nd part is in Malayalam starting at 15:39 mark.

Some Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus from Jerusalem and questioned Him about His disciples for not washing hands before eating. Traditions and practices were strictly followed by the Pharisees and the scribes. But Jesus gave more importance to the will of God, the word of God, and the things to be done in order to enter the kingdom of God.
Matthew 15:11 – Jesus said to the crowd, “It is not what enters into the mouth that defiles the man, but what proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man.” There are some blind guides in our lives too. What are those blind guides, what causes blindness, and how we can get out of those blind guides are discussed. God is more important than denominations, controversies and disputes. God knows the level of our wisdom and knowledge, and He will judge only accordingly. Trust in the word of God and feel comfortable in His mercy and love.

  • God Protects His Loved Ones(English & Malayalam)
    Jun 14 2024

Please note that the 1st part is in English, and the 2nd part is in Malayalam starting at 14:41 mark.
Isaiah 43:4 – “Since you are precious in my sight, since you are honored and I love you, I will give other men in your place and other peoples in exchange for your life.”

This verse shows the loving care of God for those whom God loves. This is particularly said about Jacob and his descendants, that is the Israelites. God promised them His love and care. God has protected the Israelites in many ways except when they worshipped idols and sinned. This promise of God applies to all His loved ones, irrespective of religion and race. Ten incidents from the Bible in terms of God’s protection are included. God will protect those who love Him and follow his commands. Using His angels, God offers His pure selfless love to those who are on the path of salvation by accepting Jesus as the savior. Sometimes God allows trials in our life to purify us, to test our faith and to strengthen us in our faith. In the New Testament Jesus has promised more spiritual protection against the enemies of our soul than physical protection. This spiritual protection is based on the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in us. If the Holy Spirit dwells in us, we are spiritually safe. We just have to draw near to God and trust in His protection. Even if we are physically hurt, we will be spiritually protected. As long as we reach our heavenly home, we can put away other worries.

  • God Shows Mercy for His Glory (English & Malayalam)
    Jun 7 2024

Please note that the 1st part is in English, and the 2nd part is in Malayalam starting at 11.55 mark.
Ezekiel 36:23 – “I will vindicate the holiness of My great name which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord,” declares the Lord, “when I prove Myself holy among you in their sight.
God is holy and glorious forever. He created us for His glory. This does not mean that without our good deeds God cannot retain His glory. God’s glory stays the same forever. God’s glory can be profaned in the world due to our sins and bad deeds. Our sins and bad deeds can enable people of less faith or no faith to deviate from the path of God. Through their idol worship, the Israelites profaned God’s name. God punished them by scattering them all around the world. The whole world looked down on the Israelites, and it profaned God’s name. God got disgraced with this, and He decided to restore them so that His glory would not be profaned among the nations.

  • Why should I not Boast about Myself? (English & Malayalam)
    Jun 1 2024

Please note that the 1st part is in English, and the 2nd part is in Malayalam starting at 10:43 mark.
Jeremiah 9:23, 24-Thus says the Lord, “Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord who exercises loving kindness, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things,” declares the Lord.
It is not acceptable to God if anyone boasts about himself or herself. Whoever boasts should boast only in God. We should not boast about ourselves. Others should boast about us. We are created for good works. We are God’s workmanship.

God likes someone boasting that you know about God. God delights in a person boasting about the knowledge of God, His loving kindness, justice and righteousness on earth. This warns how careful we should be in every word we utter in our day to day life. Why we should not boast about ourselves is discussed.

  • Can You Carry Your Cross? (English & Malayalam)
    May 24 2024

Please note that the 1st part is in English, and the 2nd part is in Malayalam starting at 15:07 mark.
Matthew 16:24 – “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.”
It is not easy to undergo sufferings in many ways and go smoothly and quietly with our life. You may be facing sufferings physically or mentally or financially. It is a natural tendency to worry, cry, complain, give up, break up relationship, take revenge, or burst out in the middle of these sufferings. It will not give a perfect solution to your sufferings. But if you become willing to follow and imitate Jesus, He will give you the strength to carry your cross with inner peace and happiness. No one else in the world has offered such a promise. I am advocating it strongly from my own experience.
