Some stories are real. Others are highly unlikely. (Available at lulu.com)Mick Stern writes poetry, fiction, non-fiction, plays, and movie scripts. (The quality varies). He also draws, paints, and writes songs. He obtained a PhD in literature from NYU where he taught screenwriting for many years. From 1999 to 2009 he maintained the website of the Committee to Protect Journalists, a nonprofit advocacy group. He has collaborated on various projects with visual artist Béatrice Coron and film/video director Len Dell'Amico. Stern is the author of three books of poetry: "What's Left of Me" (available from Amazon.com and Lulu.com), "Of All Places" (Amazon.com and Lulu.com) and "Fifty Thousand" (Lulu.com ).
