Today brings not one, but TWO stories for you! On our first "monthly release", we decided to do a Twofer. Carmen will be telling two stories that have a common theme: Scary Freaking Places!

Listen as Carmen tells Joanna two stories of places that will send a chill down your spine. Places that will (and have) made a person go running for their lives. The twist though (and we're not talking about the twist in Joanna's margarita) is that one of these stories is fact, and the other is fiction.

Ashley is off for her very first day of college, when she gets a knock at her new dorm door, "Miss, we need to speak with you about the death of your father". Mind you, it's been years since her father's death and she previously had no reason to think of fowl play. Ashley immediately calls her mother to vent and mom suggests coming home to have a few cocktails, discuss the situation, and blow off some steam. However, all is not what is seems. Today, Carmen tells the horrific story of a father who will do anything to keep his daughter from running wild. Today, Carmen is joined by Neighbor Becky, for a story that could either be the plot of a spooky movie or the retelling of a true crime case. Take it as a little Pre-Valentine's Day treat if you will.

Listen as Carmen tells the story of a young man rescued abroad who reveals a horrific story of his abduction. This teenager describes to authorities all the ways he was tortured while being held captive. However, much like in many of our stories, all is not what it seems.

Our main character has been found after being missing for 3 years, and he is not ok. It seems though that he has some secrets of his own. See if you can tell if this story filled with twists and turns is fact or fiction. No worries though, all will be revealed by the end! 

Will Becky be able to use her detective skills (not an actual detective) to crack the case before the reveal? Will you?
