  • Reuben and Gad are worried about what will happen to their livestock, and they don't want to cross the Jordan into the land of milk and honey. The land they were promised by God. Moses is concerned that their complaints will affect the Israelites. What we say affects not only ourselves, but also those around us. We can have boundaries with what we say and with what we think. Our thoughts affect our feelings and our actions. They need to be rooted in God's faithfulness. Then when we have worries and negative thoughts we can turn to God and pray about these things. We can pray for him to ease our minds. Through out everything God is with us and provides for us, what a gift! A gift that can give us peace.
