For centuries now God has been referred to as a Father, a Him and for some this invokes the presence of their Creator for others it invokes fear, anger, trepidation, religious trauma and angst. This can also happen when we refer to God as Mother, a Her where some will have negative reactions and others a positive healing reaction.
