• 22 A Name Change
    Dec 12 2022
God wants to take your old sinful nature, your past, and your failures and make everything new: Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17) The new name that God wants to give you will attract the Gentiles (the nations) because they will see a difference in your life: And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name. (Isaiah 62:2)

  • 21 Living Long Enough
    Dec 5 2022
When we live under the Abrahamic covenant, we will live long enough to fulfill our God-given destinies. For some, that will be sooner than others. One tremendous example of this is the story of five missionaries martyred by the Auca Indians in Ecuador years ago. When they died, they were young in terms of chronological age, but these men lived long enough to fulfill their destinies. They opened the way for the gospel to reach these tribal people. Even today, their legacy lives on through books and films like "Through Gates Of Splendor" and "The End Of The Spear" and in the lives of the Auca believers.

  • 20 The Great Reward
    Nov 24 2022
God told Abraham, "I am your shield." He also told Him, "I am thy exceedingly great reward." This promise includes both spiritual and material blessings. Abraham was not only blessed spiritually by his relationship with God and through his ministry to the nations but he was also blessed materially. He possessed great wealth, as did his immediate heirs, Isaac and Jacob. God blessed Abraham materially because He knew that Abraham would use his wealth wisely for the extension of God's purposes. He knew that he would honor God with the tithe of his increase (Genesis 14:18-20).
