Jacksonville Jaguars Head Coach Doug Pederson spoke prior to Monday's practice and made it clear that while the defense has played better than the offense so far, the staff isn't at all concerned. He said the offense wasn't scheming yet and the team isn't in "week 5" as if to say, "relax", to the critics. He seems to give a little bit of cover for Trevor Lawrence having a slower than expected (fans and media expectations) start to camp last week.
