Syracuse Orange Basketball recruiting target Kiyan Anthony trimmed his list to three schools with On3's Joe Tipton just a couple of days ago. Adrian Autry's squad made the cut along with the USC Trojans and Auburn Tigers. Syracuse would be a place of comfort given his father Carmelo Anthony went there. USC would be a similar path to LeBron James' kid, Bronny James. Bruce Pearl could be trying to pair Kiyan with his high school teammate Tyler Jackson.

Syracuse Orange Football takes on the Top-25 UNLV Rebels on Friday night. Fran Brown's squad looks for its second ranked win of the season against Barry Odom's team, but this time it'll have to be at Allegiant Stadium instead of the JMA Wireless Dome. UNLV has a new quarterback in Hajj-Malik Williams, instead of Matthew Sluka, who excelled against Fresno State. Williams also has an All-American wide receiver in Ricky White III, plus an outstanding defense led by Jackson Woodward and Jalen Catalon.
