Arizona Diamondbacks scored two early runs on Detroit Tigers’ starter Matt Manning to take the early lead. Detroit Tigers eventually tied the game at 4 on a Kerry Carpenter RBI triple, but Carpenter was thrown out at home trying to score an inside the park home run. Arizona Diamondbacks scored two runs in the bottom of the 7th to take the 6-4 lead and eventually earn the win.
