Detroit Tigers opened the weekend series with a blowout win over the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona. Tarik Skubal was magnificent on the mound and earned his sixth win of the season to move to 6-0 while Javy Baez, Colt Keith, Kerry Carpenter and the rest of the Tigers offense had their best game of the season. A total team victory for the Tigers to begin the six game road trip. Detroit Tigers will look to take game two of the series against the Arizona Diamondbacks tomorrow evening with first pitch set for 8:10, Jack Flaherty is scheduled to pitch for Detroit Tigers.
