Mark Few and the Gonzaga Bulldogs landed a commitment from 2025 four-star guard Davis Fogle, who picked the Zags over Creighton and Kansas after visiting Spokane over Hoopfest weekend. Fogle rocketed up class rankings after growing to 6'7 and transferring to play his senior season at Compass Prep in Arizona.

Mark Few and the Gonzaga Bulldogs will face Nicholls State out of the Southland in late December as part of the non-conference schedule, the first buy game known to fans. The Zags still have five non-con games yet to be scheduled, but most will likely be mid-major opponents. Danny Sprinkle and the Washington Huskies won't be on the calendar for the 2024-25 college basketball season, but they do hope to be back in 2025-26.

The Baylor Bears bailed from the 2025 Maui Invitational to join the Player's Era Festival in Las Vegas, where they could face off against the Zags. It's another tough blow for Maui, who lost Creighton for this upcoming season and may need to adjust their long standing traditions if they want to survive in the new NIL era.
