• Expectations in Love
    Oct 6 2020

My guest this week is my amazing friend and wanderlust Ana Patricia Castro.

Ana Patricia and I have had so many, many, many conversations about love and relationships over these last few years. Our first of which began as a normal conversation about the English language and in the middle of it, I proceeded to break down into tears literally.

Patricia simply said to me "Expectations". This began a life-changing conversation with principles I still use every day.

Ana Patricia has given me some of the best love advice ever.

Like the loving mother (of 4 daughters) she is, she shared her wisdom with me with such compassion but also in a matter of fact way that grounded me and transformed me and my views on what it means to have a healthy, well-balanced, emotionally stable, and meaningful partnership in love.

  • When Love Crosses the Racial Divide: Interracial Relationships - Part Two
    Sep 22 2020

Did you know that Interracial Marriage, know then as Mixed-Race Marriage was illegal in many states in the United States until 1967?! That was JUST 53 years ago.

This particular area of injustice ended with a supreme court ruling known as Loving versus Virginia but there is still a stigma attached to it in some parts of the country.

People have strong opinions on this topic and my lovely guest and friend London Lovestoned and I will dive in and discuss it from our personal experiences, cultural and community awareness, and much more !

When Love Crosses the Racial Divide: Interracial Relationships ...another riveting episode of #LoveTalkTuesday

  • Going in Circles. Breaking the Cycle.
    Sep 15 2020

Ah Relationships... 💖 😚 💔 😳 💘 😍 💓 the nonstop rollercoaster of emotions we all experience when falling in and out of love: the happiness, the pain, the joy and sorrow, the ups and downs, the good times and the "WTF was I thinking" of it all 😂

On this episode of #LoveTalkTuesday I discuss with my guest and fellow music producer colleague Geoh, the topic of "Going in Circles. Breaking the Cycle" and the emotions behind the new song we collaborated on called "Circles".

He has some interesting takes on love and life in general and my viewers became quite passionate in their inquisition and pressed him for answers to their burning personal questions.

Are you in a toxic love pattern with someone?

Are you in a toxic love pattern with yourself?

  • How to KNOW when the LOVE is REAL - Part Two
    Sep 8 2020

It seems to me that when we "finally" find someone to love and who also tells us they love us, a whole slew of new emotions and worries begin to pop up.

The vulnerability it takes to open your heart brings with it burning questions like:

    Do they really love me?
    Will this love last?
How can I be sure I won't get my heart broken?

We are all looking for some form of certainty in love whether we want to admit it or not. It's natural. It's human.

My next guest, the lovely and super fun Isabella Maria and I are going to explore all these questions and more on my next show/podcast

Isabella Maria was born and raised in Brazil and lives in Varginha, an UFO city (Google it).

Her and her longterm boyfriend, Fernando are self-employed business owners who specialize in Facebook Ads and helping people create virtual shops.

I adore Isa! She is warm and her personality is vibrant and infectious. She has a lot of insight into having a happy, fulfilling relationship.
