• Money Is Not The Root Of All Evil. Greed Is.
    Nov 9 2022

Is money itself truly the root of all evil? Or is just a tool to magnify what is already there within us? Perhaps it just adds value and weight to whatever it is close to and used for? In this episode, I question this outdated judgmental assumption and explore possibilities for embracing wealth without it corrupting our minds, choices and souls.

  • My Father Made It To Heaven (The First Month Of Grieving His Death)
    Nov 9 2022

It has been over a month since my father passed in mid-June of this year, 2022. In this podcast, I reflect on his life and what it has felt like to grieve his death for this first month without him here with me and my family. I also share a mini-life update and what I've been up to since his passing.

For anyone who is anticipating the death of a loved one, perhaps an elderly family member or friend, this episode is for you to see how the grieving process could potentially go from another person's perspective. I think it seems a lot worse before it happens because you don't know what to expect, how you or the people around you will react to the person's passing. But, life goes on and I am finding that I am already able to find joy and appreciation for the little things in life and able to move forward with my goals and plans despite still grieving the loss of my father.

He would want me to be happy, healthy and successful and that is what I intend to do with my life in my own way.

Wishing whomever listens to this podcast much peace and comfort at this time.

  • I Could Die Happy Single
    Nov 9 2022

Why do we glorify romance, sex and relationships and look down on singlehood? What if there are those of us who are completely content in our own company most of the time? Even if we like people and humanity? It's an extroverts world, but I'm an introvert living in it. And I do not like the constant pressure to pair off and become codependent on someone else to fulfill me when I am perfectly capable of fulfilling myself. I am already complete.

In this episode, I explore the joys I have had in my singlehood since the pandemic and seriously question if I even want to get back to dating in the future, if at all?

  • Sometimes Ghosting Is Okay Part 2 - Avoiding Abusive And Draining Relationships and Interactions
    Nov 9 2022

In this episode, I discuss more reasons why people might ghost that may have nothing to do with being neglectful, selfish or intentionally hurtful to others.  I also share a little bit about what is going on in my personal life with juggling multiple priorities that all seem life-changing and important. It's a crazy year and wild ride, but I choose to stay afloat anyway one step at a time.

  • Sometimes Ghosting Is Okay (Losing Friends During The Pandemic)
    Nov 9 2022

In this episode, I share my opinions and experiences with ghosting and getting ghosted during the pandemic.  I experienced so much loss in my social circle in person and online in the past 2 years, but I gained a greater sense of clarity about why I think ghosting happens a lot more in society and on social media.  Surprisingly, I discovered a more compassionate way to view this experience without feeling angry or hurt.  Hopefully it helps you or someone you know who has been ghosted or ghosted someone else feel a little better.

  • Productivity Struggles During A Pandemic
    Nov 9 2022

In this episode, I talk about how I struggled with feelings of guilt, shame and envy of others' success during the 2020s pandemic.  I also discuss how I came to resolve and heal from those feelings and develop understanding and compassion for myself, so that I could become more productive and start completing the projects I had originally planned to do in 2020 in 2022 instead.

  • Attending My First Death Cafe (Grief Preparation and Processing Anticipatory Grief For My Father)
    Nov 9 2022

March 2022 really kicked my ass.  Right at the beginning of the month, my elderly father got admitted to the ER for pneumonia and unfortunately it has been an unfolding and ongoing discovery of other health issues that have ensued.  In all honesty, I have considered the possibility of my father's death since the pandemic what with the virus and anti-Asian hate crimes targeting the demographic that my parents fit into.

Death and loss have been such a huge part of this pandemic of the 2020s and with so many more ways to die and the perception of it being magnified with the news media headline propaganda to keep us all trapped in fear instead of empowered, it really got to me and for the past 2 years, I have been trying to figure out how to be as best prepared for a time like this as possible.

Thankfully, my Grief Preparation Contingency Plan (I made up this name) is actually working and I'm so happy that I had the intuition and instinct to put it together before my father's time at the hospital.  And while he's still alive, I am taking full advantage of my plan and attended my first death cafe as a form of grief support.  I share my positive experiences with it in this podcast along with some major points from my Grief Preparation Contingency Plan that have been the most impactful, as well as my personal thoughts about what a time like this feels like when an elderly family member or loved one is close to death, but not quite there yet.

    Hope this helps someone.
