  • How to record your Voice Over Demo
    Jun 1 2024

In this first episode of the Luavo podcast, I share with you an interview I did with Patrick Fitzgerald. This dear friend is an audio engineer with 30 years of experience in San Francisco and who works for Pandora selecting voice actors for various projects.

In this interview we talk about: How to record your Demo. Patrick gave us several valuable tips on how to record quality Demos, how long a demo should be, tips that only an experienced audio engineer like him can give you!

    About Patrick Fitzgerald:

Having grown up in the Bay Area playing music, in the early 1980s Patrick decided to hone his early audio skills by studying Radio & Television Communications at San Francisco State University with a particular emphasis in recording and music. He began his professional audio career in 1984. Now with over 40 years of experience across a wide variety of projects, Patrick is one of the premier audio engineers and sound designers working in the field today. Whether it’s TV or radio spots, cartoons, episodic TV, documentaries, video games, feature films, audiobooks, podcasts, or the occasional music project, he is able to efficiently craft the proper sound to meet the client's requirements. Never one to shy away from a challenge, in 2003 Patrick co-founded Polarity Post Production, San Francisco’s premier audio post production facility.
