He was just lost in life and decided to become a Mercenary in the French Foreign Legion. But, before he went, he was led to spend some time in Australia where he was told how God could change his life.

    God took away MJ's heavy addiction to smoking, changed his thinking about the racial prejudice that was part of his upbringing, and provided him with a family like no other.
