  • Amber Hagerman was just 9 years old when she was abducted from an abandoned parking lot in Arlington, TX in January of 1996. Her mutilated body was found in a creek bed 4 days later. Though Amber’s killer has not yet been brought to justice, the AMBER Alert system which was created in Amber’s legacy, has saved over 2,000 abducted children since it’s inception following Amber’s death.
