Last week we had a Summer Solstice chat on our Magick & Lore for Litha Episode! So today, we thought we would snowball off those themes of midsummer with this new song! Today's song is a celebration of summertime! This one was inspired by the scene in the film where The Aunts Jet & Frances mention that they will be attending a Solstice Celebration.

The Stinas revisit their notes & lyrics and chat about how they wrote this sunny sabbat-inspired song! We'll be dissecting our original work verse by verse, draft by draft, and take you on the creative journey of how we wrote the song from start to finish. Merry Summer Solstice and Happy Litha to all of our neighbors here on Magnolia Street!

In today's episode, dive into the world of Practical Magic as we explore the Magic of Midsummer! We'll discover the enchanting connections between the Summer Solstice, the symbolic sparrow that plagues the Owens household every Midsummer, and the threefold law!

The Stinas rehash old theories about the film's timeline, and make some new discoveries revealing just where things may have derailed. After combing through old script drafts, they explore a new geographical location where the Aunts may have ventured for their solstice trip in the film, putting The Berkshires on the map and solidifying its place in Practical Magic lore.

The Stinas then write themselves into a special fan fiction piece where a certain "time-traveling friend" revisits the Owens family for a Solstice celebration! And no episode is complete without the history, the magick, the lore, an epic rap battle between the Holly vs. Oak King, AND MUCH MORE!
