Leonard has been a governer of the Academy of Motion Pictures and was the first makeup artist to serve as an Academy vice president. He has been a personal makeup artist to Cher, Meg Ryan, Val Kilmer and Sylvester Stallone. Randy went on to create his own company, Bowen Designs that has produced over 500 statues and busts of licensed Marvel characters.
