Additionally, we discuss Elijahs previous experience with cults and other movements before he became the leader of The Nation of Islam . Elijah Muhammad witnessed the rise and fall of Marcus Garvey's Movement, The Moorish Science Temple, and the Allah Temple of Islam these experiences made Elijah Muhammad view Malcolm as a dangerous enemy and Elijah Muhammad would not feel relief until Malcolm was assassinated and out of his way (Law 16, Crush your enemy Totally) . However, Malcolms influence and reach would far exceed his time here on Earth and his legacy lives on far beyond his short 39 years.
