His parents were old-school Southern Democrats, when the Democrats had values that would prompt many to lean Republican today. Mark talks about voting for Trump in 2016 and 2020 and why his moral dissatisfaction with Trump's character made him unable to support Trump again. As he says, "It was a blessing to have Kennedy as an option so I could vote against Trump and still feel good about who I was voting for."
