  • The word that God gave me for this season is Gentle. I highly recommend asking God if he has a word for you right now-whether that is a word of the year or for a season.

    Right now God is asking me to slow down and not try to produce anything. Winter seasons can be an invitation to rest but they aren't usually our favorite. We would rather be doing, be achieving, be producing. What if God's invitation to you is similar to what he's extending to me: "stop. slow down. you don't have to force anything right now. abide in me. and that's enough."

    Isaiah 30:15 hits home with the invitation to rest and salvation and strength when it ends with "but you would have none of it". I hope we can be people who will accept God's good gifts that he extends to us.

    This will also be the last podcast episode of Season 3!
