  • The (R)epublican (N)ational (C)ircus Is Back In Town! + A Conversation with John Dean
    Jul 22 2024
Today we welcome back to our show, a very special guest, John Dean. For those of you who lived through Watergate, his name is synonymous with the political intrigue of the 1970’s. Dean served as White House Counsel for President Richard Nixon from July 1970 until April 1973. In that position, he became deeply involved in events leading up to the Watergate burglaries and the subsequent scandal and cover-up. Referred to as the "master manipulator of the cover-up" by the FBI, Dean’s testimony before the House was watched by some 80 million Americans. Granted immunity, Dean laid out in stunning detail and intricacy how the President not only knew about but orchestrated the break-in and burglary of the DNC. He ultimately was sentenced to one year in Federal Prison, but emerged from the experience as a changed and soulful individual. Dean renounced his former politics and started a second life as an author and speaker. He’s penned five books about Watergate and 10 books in total; including his most recent tome, Authoritarian Nightmare: Trump and his Followers. Dean is now the last man standing from that era, He is the last connection between this nation’s authoritarian past and present. The difference being, Dean thought none of this would happen again. All Americans need to hear this

Michael is a fantastic example of being human and making mistakes but owning them and dedicating himself not only to making up for his mistakes but to try and keep the country and possibly the world from making the same mistake. He is uniquely qualified to speak on the most pressing issues of our time and while he has a very specific stance on things it is from first hand experience and he is a truth teller. He also has brilliant guests that are experts that can speak to the issues at hand with competence in a way that is educational, entertaining and in plain English.. I have listened to every episode of Mea Culpa and read both of his books which I finished each in just a few days as I could not put them down. This podcast and political beat down are really essential for all Americans to have the facts regarding our future as a country.

TRUMF IS GOING DOWN!

I listen to Michael Cohen every chance I get. He is his former fixer and he worked for him for ten-plus years. I couldn't afford cable anymore so I don't get to listen to the news. I hope the Trumf followers get off his "D" now! I hope they see him for what he is. A true con man. Now the Trumpf kids found another source to suck blood from the RNC. LIKE MY DAUGHTER SAYS. MA, TRUMP AIN'T GETTING THAT JOB BACK!!

Good Information and I look forward to hearing more like this. Donald Trump is a disgusting POS and he will go to jail and we will not have to hear his lies any more.
