  • Mimi Wahlfeldt’s debut novel, “Forks & Knives,” will be published (Black Rose Writing) in August 2024. The fiction is inspired by the reality of addiction and codependence that millions live with.

    In May 2021, following early retirement, Wahlfeldt tackled her first creative writing project: turning a stream-of-consciousness journal about her first marriage’s demise into a novel others might find interesting.

    Remarried for 22 years to her best friend, Stephen, Wahlfeldt enjoys her life in Northern Colorado: spending time with the couple’s four grown children and grandson, traveling, reading, scrapbooking, and writing. She is currently working on her second novel.
