Mind of Texas

By: KUT & KUTX Studios Ike Evans
  • Summary

  • Host Ike Evans brings you accessible, in-depth guest discussions on mental health in the Lone Star State, with an emphasis on Black and Brown voices. By shining a spotlight on often-overlooked but seemingly-ubiquitous issues, Mind of Texas aims to mitigate some of the stigma around talking about mental health, especially in these historically underprivileged communities. You’ll hear from researchers, industry professionals, and even folks in the throes of coping with Texas’ complexities themselves. Mind of Texas, which comes out the second Wednesday of each month, is a co-production of KUT and KUTX Studios and UT’s Hogg Foundation for Mental Health.
