  • Summary

  • The Moms Talk Autism Podcast is for parents raising children with special needs. We are four moms, all with autistic children and other neurodivergence. Teaching a special needs child to navigate the world around them comes with challenges and struggles. We want to talk about those challenges openly with you and others. We discuss grief, school, family balance, siblings, therapies, social conversations, behaviors, delays, diagnosis advocation, and marriage. We do not hold degrees in medicine or neuroscience, nor are we special education teachers, but we are experts in raising our kids and figuring out everything as we go. Think of this podcast as a coffee shop chat with your closest girlfriends. We want to talk, raise awareness, and help each other thrive with our neurodivergent families in a neurotypical world. An absolutely fantastic resource

What a great podcast! I so wish this had been around when my kids were younger and our family felt so isolated dealing with two kids on the spectrum. Listening to these ladies will not only help support autism families emotionally and mentally, but also in regards to best practices and the importance of individuality in treatment. Their conversations will make you laugh, cry, learn and feel understood right along with them - I'm so thankful for this podcast!

Thoughtful podcast

I’m really benefiting from the wisdom and experience of this fellowship of elite moms. Finding encouragement and understanding for my own hard journey with nonverbal autistic son. They examine the different facets of life with autism, and how it impacts everyone in the family. Thank you for doing this phenomenal podcast. You shed light into the darkness

Very Relatable

I definitely enjoyed listening to y'all talk. I just listened to your podcast about holidays and how crazy they are and its so relatable. I am just beginning this Autism journey with my 7 year old and y'all hit the nail right on the head. Holidays aren't a time for us to relax ESPECIALLY if it is at someone elses house. It is stressful and you're always on edge,. I love the idea of telling family members about limiting gifts and that it really is just for that family member not for the child. Needed that little reassurance that it is ok to set boundaries. Thank you ladies!!!! I can't wait to listen to all of your podcasts. <3

Great Episode!

Great episode! Thank you for talking about this very important topic. We are so focused on our kiddos, we forget there wouldn't be kiddos if it wasn't for our partners and our relationship.

Informative, Interesting and fun

These girls are the best! I’m a single mom with a 3 year old daughter that recently got an autism diagnosis.

I appreciate all four of your personalities and you all bring something different to the conversation! And you’re all hilarious. I’m so glad I found this podcast when I did as it’s helped me navigate this journey alone.

Thank you 4 for taking time out of your busy lives to help others. I want you to know it’s truly made a big difference in my life! ❤️

Fellow autism mom

I thought this was a book when I got it but realized it was a podcast and I love it. I have 12 year old twin autistic boys. I’m a single mom so it’s very difficult and stressful. I’m loving that you guys are doing this and I think we need more of it. Keep it up!
