We headed to the Curve Fashion Festival in Liverpool, England, to check out all the fun happenings at fashion fest celebrating all things plus size fashion including; stalls from our fave brands, killer catwalk shows, and celeb guests. Oh, and speaking of which— we were joined by model and content creator, Olivia Campbell (a.k.a @curvycampbell), and the one-and-only actress and model, Hayley Hasslehoff (!!)

These two notorious women in the plus size industry share their experiences of entering the world of modelling and the learnings from each of their journeys. While Hayley gives us the scoop on the secrets to killer dressing and her relationship with the word ‘connected’ over ‘confident’; Olivia drops some serious advice for aspiring plus size models, tells us how she ignores the hate, and why events such as the Curve Fashion Fest are so f’ing important. Cue a v special end to our second series <3.

For our Season 2 finale (time flies when you’re having fun, right !?) We are joined by renowned illustrator, sex inclusivity activist, and Private Parts presenter, Venus Libido. We mouth off with her about how, from her darkest moments, she discovered her passion for illustration, and how she’s championing conversations around sexual inclusivity. Through her experiences unravelling her own trauma, Simone co-founded The Teen Experience; a series of workshops designed to help teenage girls really show up for themselves, find out what self-care means to them, and steer away from social media, so they’re truly present in the room. As we dive into her journey through the world of modelling, we also chat to Simone about how her career as model gave her a sense of freedom and new ownership of her body, a great personal success for her after experiences of sexual assault.
