  • Bobby Mardis x Frank Ocean (EXTENDED 90s INTRO)
    Jan 10 2023

    BOBBY FERRARI 90s REFREAK

Bobby Mardis’s ‘Keep On’ is the real gem here, sprinkled with some White Ferrari Frank Ocean magic.

Why can’t that Kanye bridge be it’s own song? Why can’t that Quasimoto intro be a little longer? And why did Drake and Khaled make ‘No Secret’, a bonafide gospel hit, only 48 seconds long?

I don’t have the answer. But I do have a mix. I made ‘2Much’ to make the favorite parts of some of my favorite songs last longer. God bless the rhythm.

DRTYWHTVNS is Cameron Rice, an Ohio artist who was approached by the highly-respected Orange Milk Records to make a debut album.

That album became Aloof and is currently one of my favorite records for its incredible blend of rapping, singing, and dance beats. (Toro Y Moi fans take note.)

In this episode, we’ll find out Cam’s influences, how he approaches the art of listening, and break down his production techniques.
