Yasmin interviews Sofia Carpio. how their friendship evolved  It’s often said that opposites attract, and that’s certainly true in the case of introverts and extroverts. Introverts tend to be more reserved and prefer quiet environments, while extroverts are outgoing, thrive in social settings, and are the life of the party. Despite their differences, introverts and extroverts can start a friendship by complementing each other's strengths and weaknesses. We dive into that. Now we are  inseparable.

  • It's never too late
    Apr 26 2023

Yasmin and good friend Christina  chat about  "Love and Relationships". Today, we're going to talk about a journey that many of us have been on - the journey of dating, being in a toxic relationship, and then finally meeting our true love.

Let's start with the dating part. Dating can be exciting, exhilarating, and terrifying all at the same time. We spend countless hours swiping through dating apps, going on dates, trying to find our perfect match. And let's be honest, sometimes it feels like we're just going in circles.

But then, we finally find someone who we think might be the one. We start dating, and things are great at first. We're obsessed with each other, we can't get enough of each other's company, and we're convinced that this is it - we've found "the one".

However, over time, things start to change. We start to notice little things that bother us about our partner. Maybe they're too clingy, too distant, too argumentative, or too negligent. We start to feel like something is off, but we can't quite put our finger on it.

Eventually, we realize that we're in a toxic relationship. We're being emotionally and/or physically abused, manipulated, and controlled by our partner. It's an incredibly difficult realization to come to, but we know that we need to get out of that relationship for our own mental and physical well-being.

Finally, we break free from the toxic relationship and start the healing process. We spend time focusing on ourselves, building our confidence and self-worth, and learning from our past mistakes. We start dating again, but this time, we approach it with a newfound sense of self-awareness and self-respect.

And then, one day, we meet someone who changes everything. We meet our future husband - the person who loves us for who we are, who respects us, supports us, and makes us feel safe and loved.
