The better promises of the New Covenant do not stop at Jeremiah 31:34. The rest of Jeremiah 31 (and 32-33) continue to speak on the matter, as well as parallel prophecies in the books of Isaiah, Micah, and Ezekiel. I also look at the question of "Do we possess the Spirit of Yahweh in our hearts now?" ~~~ About Matthew and Ministers of the New Covenant:

We believe in Yahweh the Father, Almighty Maker of heaven and earth, and in Yeshua the Messiah His only begotten Son, our Master. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Miriam, lived a sinless life according to Torah, and preached the Good News of the Kingdom. He suffered and died as a substitute sacrifice for our sin, and was resurrected on the third day for our justification. Eternal life is this: knowing the Father and His Son, made possible by the gift of the Holy Spirit, a new heart and mind. After this gift, the believer is given the ability to follow Yahweh's holy law. Following this law is the inevitable fruit of regeneration and justification.
