街（まち）の中（なか）が綺麗（きれい）で住（す）みやすい日本（にほん）ですが、その裏（うら）にはコミュニティ内（ない）での厳（きび）しいルールがあることもあります。例（たと）えばジムやサウナでは声（こえ）を出（だ）さない、静（しず）かにする、などなど。また、東京（とうきょう）などにある人気（にんき）のラーメン店（てん）ではその店独自（みせどくじ）のルールがあることもあります。今回はSNS上（じょう）で討論（とうろん）となったラーメン屋（や）の厳（きび）しいルールについて話（はな）しました。食事中（しょくじちゅう）に何（なに）をするかは、個人（こじん）の自由（じゆう）の気（き）がしますが、あるラーメン店（みせ）では食事中（しょくじちゅう）のあることが禁止（きんし）されているようです。ぜひ皆（みな）さんのご意見（いけん）を聞（き）かせてください。

While Japan is known for its clean streets and livability, there are also strict community rules behind the scenes. For example, in gyms and saunas, you are expected to be quiet and not raise your voice. Similarly, popular ramen shops in places like Tokyo often have their own unique rules.

In this episode, we discussed the strict rules of a ramen shop that became a hot topic on social media. While it seems like it should be up to the individual what to do during a meal, one ramen shop has banned a particular activity during dining.

たまたま見（み）ていたテレビ番組（ばんぐみ）で物欲主義者（ぶつよくしゅぎしゃ）とミニマリストがそれぞれの意見（いけん）を主張（しゅちょう）し合（あ）っていました。全（まった）く食（く）い違（ちが）う意見（いけん）を見（み）ていて、私（わたし）は一体（いったい）どっちに属（ぞく）するのか、と考（かんが）えてしまいました。そこで今回（こんかい）はその番組（ばんぐみ）で出（で）ていた両者（りょうしゃ）の意見（いけん）を参考（さんこう）に、自分（じぶん）たちが物欲主義者（ぶつよくしゅぎしゃ）なのか、またはミニマリストなのかを考（かんが）えてみました。皆（みな）さんも自分（じぶん）がどちらに属（ぞく）するか聞（き）きながら考（かんが）えてみてください。

By chance, I was watching a TV show where materialists and minimalists were each expressing their opinions. Seeing their completely opposing views made me wonder which group I belong to. So, in this episode, we took the opinions presented on that show as a reference and thought about whether we are materialists or minimalists. 日（火）に日（火）に暑（あつ）くなっている日本（にほん）ですが、もう２週間（しゅうかん）で学校（がっこう）は夏休（なつやす）みになります。欧米（おうべい）に比（くら）べると40日間（にちかん）の短（みじか）めの夏休（なつやす）みですが、みんな旅行（りょこう）に行（い）ったり、また海外（かいがい）からも多（おお）くの旅行客（りょこうきゃく）が日本（にほん）に訪（おとず）れています。 今回はそんな暑（あつ）い日本（にほん）の夏休（なつやす）みの人気（にんき）の旅行先（りょこうさき）を調（しら）べました。都道府県（とどうふけん）別（べつ）のランキングで発表（はっぴょう）しています。海外（かいがい）から日本（にほん）に旅行（りょこう）にくる方（かた）もどうぞ参考（さんこう）にしてみてください。

今（いま）「The Crown」というドラマにハマっています。エリザベス女王（じょおう）のストーリーを通（とお）して、イギリスの王室制度（おうしつせいど）、結婚観（けっこんかん）、日本（にほん）の皇室制度（こうしつせいど）との違（ちが）いなどなど、学（まな）ぶことがたくさんありました。特（とく）に、恋愛（れんあい）や結婚（けっこん）が大（おお）きく関係（かんけい）してくる王室内（おうしつない）の生活（せいかつ）は、日本（にほん）と比（くら）べて大（おお）きく違（ちが）っていてとても興味深（きょうみぶか）いものでした。私（わたし）が感（かん）じた個人的（こじんてき）なドラマの感想（かんそう）を話（はな）しています。あくまでもドラマについての個人的（こじんてき）な感想（かんそう）であり、実際（じっさい）のイギリス王室（おうしつ）や国王（こくおう）を批判（ひはん）したものではありませんので、ご了承（りょうしょう）ください。笑

I am currently hooked on the drama "The Crown." Through Queen Elizabeth's story, I have learned a lot about the British monarchy, views on marriage, and the differences from the Japanese imperial system. In particular, the lifestyle within the royal family, where romance and marriage play a significant role, is very different from Japan's, and it is very intriguing. I share my personal impressions of the drama. Please note that these are just my personal opinions about the drama and not criticisms of the actual British royal family or the monarch. 日本語（にほんご）学習者（がくしゅうしゃ）のみなさんは十分（じゅうぶん）にご存（ぞん）じだと思（おも）いますが、日本語（にほんご）って本当（ほんとう）に難（むずか）しいですよね。特（とく）に、漢字（かんじ）はネイティブの私（わたし）たちでも読（よ）めないものが多（おお）いです。つまり、漢字（かんじ）を完全（かんぜん）にマスターすることは日本人（にほんじん）でも不可能（ふかのう）。日本語（にほんご）が世界一（せかいいち）難（むずか）しい言語（げんご）だと言（い）われている理由（りゆう）もわかります。今回（こんかい）は、どうして日本語（にほんご）には３つも文字（もじ）が存在（そんざい）するのか。漢字（かんじ）はどうやって伝（つた）わったのか。ひらがな、カタカナはなぜ作（つく）られたのか、について話（はな）しました。

I believe all learners of Japanese know well that Japanese is truly a difficult language. Especially kanji; even we natives often find many characters unreadable. In other words, mastering kanji completely is impossible even for Japanese people. It’s understandable why Japanese is said to be the most difficult language in the world. In this episode, we discussed why there are three types of characters in Japanese. How did kanji come to Japan? And why were hiragana and katakana created?

５月（ごがつ）や６月（ろくがつ）は高校（こうこう）で球技大会（きゅうぎたいかい）が開（ひら）かれることがとても多（おお）いです。運動会（うんどうかい）とは違（ちが）い、球技（きゅうぎ）だけを行（おこな）う大会（たいかい）ですが、種目（しゅもく）は学校（がっこう）によって違（ちが）います。とらくんの学校（がっこう）では、フットサル、ドッジボール、バレーボールが行（おこな）われたようです。そこで今回（こんかい）は世界（せかい）で競技人口（きょうぎじんこう）の多（おお）いスポーツトップ５を発表（はっぴょう）しました。また同（おな）じように日本（にほん）で競技人口（きょうぎじんこう）の多（おお）いスポーツについても調査（ちょうさ）してみました。どんなスポーツが日本（にほん）や世界（せかい）でいちばん行（おこな）われていると思（おも）いますか？皆（みな）さんも考（かんが）えてみてください。
