Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s vakil Gopinath pant meets Afzal khan, he gave King Shivaji's letter to Khan & gifted gem-studded katyar. Pant said Raje is afraid to meet you, you should come to Javali. Khan agrees to come with his army. Pant went to Pratapgad & told entire conversations to Raje.

Afzal Khan left from Bijapur to imprison Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He decided to go through Tuljapur Pandharpur Wai. After coming to Tuljapur, Afzal Khan ordered the village to be looted.
