  • Adventures of Paul: From Backpackin' to Grillin'
    Nov 11 2022

Say hello to Nomadic Living's first ever live audience... 😂 We interview one of our suite-mates (in Pisgah terms, this means we share a bathroom with them) as the other sits in and overs "silent" views of his own. Paul is quite a character, and has lived more life than one might imagine! From the army, to backpacking 400 miles (in two months - can you imagine?!) to ending up loving the restaurant business - we hear tons about the life of this great guy and cannot wait for you to listen in and get to know him, as well!

  • Nick, the Invasive Species Exterminator
    Nov 4 2022

Nick may be having his first experience as a seasonal worker, but he's definitely no newbie to wild adventures. Listen in to hear all about the time he slept in a hammock over an alligator swamp, his first hand account of what happened on January 6th, 2021 at The Capitol and so many more stories that will leave you wanting more - just as it did us!

We have a blast with every single person we have on the podcast each week, and Nick was no exception. It was so fun getting to hear all his adventures that this one ran a tad long.. at almost two hours, it definitely gives you a good amount of content to listen to!

  • Seasonal Views with Paul
    Oct 22 2022

Wow! Paul has lived quite the life. Listen as he tells us all about his life before discovering seasonal work, the amazing car set-up he has for traveling, his plans (or ideas for plans) for the winter and more. I get a bit sentimental during this one, as I can't imagine leaving Pisgah and potentially never seeing Paul, and the other friends we've made, ever again.. a part of seasonal work I was never prepared for. We couldn't be more grateful to have had this time with him, and thank him for spending his afternoon off with us!

  • Meeting Matt
    Sep 30 2022

Matt once rode his bike through a blizzard in the middle of Omaha.. JUST to make it to work that night! (If that doesn't explain what it's like trying to call off from a restaurant, I don't know what does...). Hear about this and more of Matt's wild life and numerous experiences with seasonal jobs, how traveling and being outdoors helped him cope with depression, the time he ended up homeless after moving across country for a job and so much more. You don't wanna miss this episode!
