The young girl walked from her family’s modest apartment toward the home of her friend that was just three short blocks away. As she bounded down the sidewalk, she was clutching a newly acquired treasure she had just received from her aunt. Her mother, Laura,  watched as the girl turned to smile at her, and wave goodbye, It was unseasonably warm and the radiant sunlight bounced off the girl’s short hair, making it shine impossibly bright. Christie would be home in time for dinner, she promised. And Christie never broke a promise. Laura watched her daughter until she was no longer in view, and, satisfied her daughter was safe on her path, Laura closed the door and set about spending the afternoon with her younger son. Little did Laura realize that in just a few short hours, her world would be turned completely upside down.

Prior to the summer of 1996, Blair Adams of Surrey, British Columbia seemed to have a lot going for him. He had many friends, a job he enjoyed and was good at, and was close with his family. However, in June, something happened that started Blair to change drastically. Confiding in friends, he said someone was out to kill him.  When his mother asked if he was alright, he was evasive. After a couple of failed attempts, Blair made it to the US and made a cross-country, nonsensical journey where it seems his deepest fear came true. Join us as we look further into this 28-year-old unsolved case.

Glenna Susan "Sue" Sharp escaped a tumultuous life when she left an allegedly abusive marriage for good. Even with Sue being a homebody, she would cross paths with dangerous people. On April 11, 1981, danger would come calling. When Sheila came home from a friends house to grab some clothes for church, her entire world would be turned upside down the second she opened her front door and saw a most horrific scene in here living room. 41 years later, and there are still no arrests. Is that due to a bungled investigation? Was there a cover up? Was the killer (or, more likely, killers) really that clever to get away with a grisly murder?

Joshua Vernon Maddux had recently turned 18 years old when he vanished without a trace in May 2008. When he was found more than 7 years later, we were left with more questions than answers due to the bizarre circumstances surrounding his discovery. What really happened to Joshua we may never know.
