Have you been living in a comfort zone? Most of us are. But what happens when you realize that your comfort zone is actually killing you slowly, keeping you trapped from the plans that God has for you.

In this episode, I talk about what living in your comfort-zone looks like, why it's dangerous, and how to overcome it for good. This topic has been on my mind for a while and i'm super duper happy that I can finally talk about it.

God is calling you to bigger and greater things. The choice is up to you though, whether you will walk out in faith or stay in the same place where you are now. But once you walk past that line of comfort, life gets a whole lot better. The same God that was with Moses who bravely led the Israelites to the promised land, is the same God that lives in you today.

Hi friends! It's been a while since my last episode, but I'm finally glad to be back.

Taking rest is super important for our mental and physical health. If you don't take time now to take care of yourself, you'll find yourself quickly burnt-out. God might even cause a drastic change in your life in order to give you a season of rest.

After going to therapy for 2 months, I've been blessed to be able to truly take the Lord's rest.

He is always in control, no matter how hard we work to try and take life in our own hands. So when the Lord gives you rest, take it. He is giving you a season of rest for a reason.

KEY VERSES:

Psalms 127:2 - "It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, Anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones.”

Matthew 6:33 - “Seek the kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need”

I challenge you this week to take just one day to stop working and have a "self-care" rest day. You can go for a walk outside, try making some art, read a book, or spend time with family. Journal how the experience was and notice how much more peaceful you feel.

Just how the Lord rested on the 7th day of work, so are we called to take rest from our work.
