  • Does your bundle of joy, as it grows, make you feel holy terror? But there is one parent who has endured more than any parent has ever endured. Our Father in Heaven! Children of Israel was the problem child to God. If you look at world history you will find great men arise with a vision and a dream. They worked hard all their lives, sacrificing much and see their dream come to fruition. After they die however their successors come along. For a while they continue with the vision and dream of their founder but somewhere along the line the second or third generation successors lose the vision, forget the dream and things go downhill with selfish, self-serving men and women taking on a leadership role but providing very little leadership. Othniel was an exception and he was chosen by God to lead Israelites.
