  • This week we venture off the normal path and we look at relationships. We have been in unprecedented times, spending more time with those we are closest to; than in any other history of our existence. With us we may have developed an unknown toxic relationship. One that started as a truly loving relationship but now is challenged. Let's explore exactly what the signs of a toxic relationship are. The difference between an abusive relationship and a toxic relationship. How we can go about understanding the impacts of a toxic relationship. And finally the steps we can take to remedy the situation and bring our relationships back into a healthy status.

    This is a sensitive subject but it is an important one we must look deep within and be willing to take ownership of our own behavior. Knowing when we need help and seeking that help is critical. So please follow along as I share how to take your toxic relationship and turn it back into a non-toxic loving relationship that it once was.

    I Acknowledge it may be hard to listen to; it's hard to write. Whether it's a sibling, a parent, child, a partner, or spouse none of us want to admit that our relationship has gone to a toxic level. However, it is that exact acknowledgment that will begin the healing process.

    As a non-toxic coach this is a subject I don't often explore. But as we move into colder months we acknowledge that we will be spending more and more time together it is imperative that we address it now.

    I am not a doctor or a psychologist I am a coach who can identify toxins both physical and mental. I hope that bringing light to this subject helps us all move into healthier self-care relationships; as well as all of our relationships being healthier.
