Last episode in Himalayan Hipsters, we discussed WHY Self-care? This week we want to emphasize on our fundamental right as human beings which is the “Power of Choice”.  Caroline Myss explains “there is no such thing as a small choice; You are always making choices, even in your sleep; Even your choices continue to make choices long after you’ve forgotten them; One clear choice, no matter how insignificant you might think it is, can redirect the course of your life in the blink of an eye. All of us were born knowing deep in our inner self that every choice we make holds the potential to change our life, so we often hesitate to make choices or we let others make our decisions for us, only to end up angry at ourselves or at others for how our life turned out. 

In truth, the spiritual journey is the same for all of us: We must each take charge of own choices, as we are each held accountable for what we create. That truth is why we fear the power of our choices and why we rarely forgive ourselves for abdicating our power of choice to another person. And of course we resent having choice taken from us, as we know it our soul that the power to choose how we dance with creation is a sacred contract. “
