    In this podcast, Kay shares how and why she wrote her book LIFTED UP BY ANGELS.     She tells of her journey of a 4-year postnatal depression honestly authentically by recalling what it was really like to not feel a connection to her baby. Then on a weekend away by herself, her depression was lifted by the grace of God. The seed of this book was planted that weekend when she was set on the path to make a difference in the lives of others sharing the same journey. She returned to study as a mature-aged student and graduated with her degree in Human Services which set her on her path of writing. She follows her passion for improving the lives of people with disabilities by working as an Employment Consultant in a Disability Employment Service.
