  • Season 6, Episode 6. Pablo M. Bentes is a partner at Baker McKenzie Geneva and heads the firm's global WTO disputes practice. I've known Pablo for a while and I even shared his office while at the WTO's Appellate Body. One of the things I was glad to find there was the sense of camaraderie; it was like a big family. So, we had to talk about that, but I wanted to cover much more than that since Pablo has had an exciting career beyond that. We discussed how he left Brazil to study and his experiences working abroad, eventually leading him to the WTO. We also talked about what led to his decision to leave the WTO, which I found very interesting. Pablo's successful career is a testament to his hard work, knowledge, and being in the right place at the right time. I had a blast talking to him; he did a great job with the questionnaire.
