  • How do you know you are ready to become a caregiver? How long are you willing to take on the caregiving role? For many of us, becoming a caregiver can happen unexpectantly, without warning. We find ourselves in a role and we have no idea how it will affect us. Caregiving expert, advocate, author, and speaker Pamela D Wilson, MS, BS-BA, NCG, CSA, knew from an early age she possessed a love and passion for the elderly. And when this passion took a personal turn towards loss, Pamela brought her passion to those she loved the most, her parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Pamela will share the caregiver’s journey and how we can prepare for this volunteer job that can lead to deeper love, higher stress, and feelings of being taken for granted.
