  • This was quite a different podcast for me to record this week, as "Hopps" is one of my oldest and dearest friends, and as it turns out, he's been struggling. To make it worse, it's been happening under my own nose.

    Paul is very open and honest in this episode, even more than I expected him to be. I take that as a huge compliment, as it shows his trust in me as his friend, but also as a professional publishing this podcast (having his approval means an awful lot to me). I trust that you the listener will show him the same respect.

    This man is pretty much responsible for me falling in love with radio, something I did back in the early 90's. Thirty years later, and I'm still broadcasting. He takes the compliment in his inimitable style.
