Maya shared a message from Psalm 37:7, entitled “Faithfully Connected and Patiently Waiting”. David shared a message entitled, “Your Burdens Are Being Lifted”, and Jahmari shared about the dangers of tolerating sin from James 1:14-15.

We don’t fight battles unprepared. We train hard to know our enemy and we equip ourselves with the necessary stratagems that will help us prepare for battle. Do we truly understand what it means to have the presence of a father in our homes? Having a father in our homes or lives brings stability, guidance, protection, security, boundaries and much more. While many may not have had this experience, there is also a parallel and more perfect model of a father, in God. Elder James Wilson delivered an excellent reminder that God, our Father, wants to not only be a father to us but he wants to reside on the inside of us and be present in every area of our lives. We must then be willing to relinquish our old way of doing things and embrace His ways by aligning our life with His Word. He will show a new and better way of living because He is the eternal Father.
