    Angela Murphy has been appointed the new Chief Executive of the national Fitzroy organisation, based at their headquarters on Hylton Road, Petersfield.

    She spoke to Mike Waddington about supporting people with a learning disability, autism or a metal health challenge, in the community.

    She speaks about how we overlook people like this and how that can change.

    She also confesses her love for the film Grease.

  • Age Concern celebrate 60 years in Petersfield and District

    With their Chatty Cafe. befriending service, driving and IT training for seniors, Age Concern have been providing services for people in Petersfield for 60 years.

    They’re celebrating on 14 August with their staff, clients and over 40 volunteers.

  • Petersfield Counselling Service appeals for room help

    PCS - Petersfield Counselling service, who help 120 people a year with their mental health challenges, are appealing for low cost venues so they can help even more people.

    They have provided this service for 35 years and take referrals from GPs and others. People can also contact them directly (see below).

    PCS asks people for a donation towards the cost of the support, which is not time limited.
