    In the middle of the night, our chambermaids uncover a strange skeleton in the woods, visit a nun with supper (and a deal), and rifle the library in the bar for clues...all bring with them disquiet and unexpected revelations - all pointing towards the reason Marga's disappearance has been covered up!


    The Girls of the Genziana Hotel are the chambermaids who serve what few guests sleep in the hotel's rooms. During the day, the girls will have to balance their work as maids and their efforts to further the investigation. During the night, the girls will brave the same dark hallways that swallowed their friend. They will deal with the strict head of staff, the entitled guests, the rest of the employees, and night's eerie nightmares, hoping to find those responsible for Marga's fate without suffering it themselves.

    You might be into this game if you are into murder mysteries and gothic horror stories. As young women and maids, the girls are at the bottom of the patriarchal hierarchy of the hotel, but this game is about subverting that position by working together. So if you're into female rebellion, this is also for you.

    Session 2 of our Mutant Year Zero campaign starts with Assembly at the Highland Mall Ark: the group adds Defenses, launches another zone expedition for food and water, and scrambles to deal with Johnammed’s control of the water supply. Before leaving, Wilo learns a huge secret from Eriel—the elder believes she’s pregnant, apparently by someone from outside the Ark. Rasper talks Marlotte into letting Astrina join the expedition, Zippo builds a rot suit out of scrap, and Tavri checks in with Sixster, who wants first crack at any valuable finds.

    Out in the Zone, the party heads west with Yassan and Astrina, finds an old police station, and discovers it’s home to a giant venomous spider. After a brutal fight, they kill it, patch up Donut and Wilo, and search the station. Their haul includes a compound bow, three arrows, and a strange piece of advanced scrap. They decide to bunker down there for the night, turning the station into a possible safehouse. Back at the Ark, though, things keep getting worse—the population drops by 3 at session end.
