    Oaths Sworn: Wulfrid the Grizzled Veteran, Charlotte the Noble Knight and Sovan the Creed Guard advance to find a gallant knight holding a bridge against all-comers. The rearguard of his own retreating company Emont Legaarde is the childhood friend of Charlotte, but will they realise before their blades clash in anger?
