  • Stuff We've Missed: Married...with Children / Interview with Author Richard Gurman

This is a special episode as not only do we discuss a great show we all enjoyed, Married...with Children; but we also get to do it by interviewing one of the main writers of the show itself, Richard Gurman. His recently released book Married… with Children vs. the World: The Inside Story of the Shock-Com that Launched FOX and Changed TV Comedy Forever contains many behind the scenes anecdotes and interviews with some of the most important people from the show, like Ed O'Neill.

In our interview, he shares many great stories any fan of the show, or even just television, would enjoy. Settle in for a good time!

  • Stuff We've Missed: George Michael - Faith / Top Solo Artists who Came from Groups

C-c-c-c-c'mon! It's time to revisit one of our favorite albums of the 80s: Faith by George Michael from 1987. Tons of hit singles, great videos, and a lot of specific nostalgia all came out of this solo debut. We share all those wonderful memories and break down each track.

Then we get draftin'. Since George Michael was in Wham! first, then became even bigger on his own, we draft our favorite artists who had great solo careers after being in a group (or in some cases even going back and forth).

  • Stuff We've Missed: The Princess Bride (1987) / Best Family Friendly Movies (Non-Animated)
    Jul 8 2024

What is a perfect movie to you? For us, the obvious answer is The Princess Bride. Of all the movies we haven't covered yet on PCY, this is most inconceivable omission. Well, here we go! Get out your swords, put on your six-fingered gloves, and fetch that pitcher; it's time talk about this Rob Reiner classic starring Cary Elwes, Robin Wright, Mandy Patinkin, Andre the Giant, Christopher Guest, Billy Crystal, Carol Kane, and others.

As you wish...we always have our draft too. This time we're picking the best family-friendly movies to watch for all ages. No animated movies or Christmas movies allowed. Just regular family-friendly fare. Have fun storming the castle!
